The ICSF Professionals' Team provides volunteer opportunities for business professionals to get involved in the efforts of The Catholic Schools Foundation. The fundamental purpose of the Team is to enrich the educational experience of Catholic school students by bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace. Members demonstrate to students how a strong education can positively influence their future careers. Activities and programs include:
 
Speakers' Bureau

Volunteers from many diverse occupations have inspired hundreds of inner-city students through The Speakers' Bureau. Through in-session school visits, these professionals are able to share their daily work experiences and educational backgrounds, and impart their professional knowledge directly to children. 
How you can help: Volunteer to represent your profession enthusiastically and to share your work experiences with students.

Tutoring Program

The Tutoring Program provides individual attention and guidance for students in their academic studies. The program's main objective is to enhance the learning experience of the student through this one-to-one connection with their volunteer tutor. It is being expanded to include both weekday and weekend hours.
How you can help: The Tutoring Program seeks dedicated tutors who can assist children in learning.

Make a Difference Days

The Make a Difference Days brings groups of friends or co-workers together to provided needed services to specific schools on scheduled weekends. The group might provide landscaping, classroom cleanup or IT upgrades. The activities depend on the needs of the school and the interest of the volunteers.
How you can help: Sign up to Make a Difference! Grab a couple friends for the day!

Industry Tours Program
 
Seeing the business world first-hand is an invaluable way for inner-city students to begin to both envision themselves in a career and realize how important their education is to their future goals. The Industry Tours Program provides students with this opportunity, enabling students to explore a wide range of local businesses and professions.
How you can help: The Team is looking for volunteers to enlist companies to host student tours. Volunteers may also serve as chaperones.
